The meltdown that taught me about confidence
It's the same reason you're stuck waiting to start
Hey Mama,
Picture this: Your kid is having a meltdown in the grocery store. Everyone's staring. You can feel the judgment.
In that moment, you have two choices:
Option 1: React from panic. Yell. Get flustered. Make it worse because you don't know what else to do.
Option 2: Get down to their level. Stay calm. Help their nervous system regulate. Not because you read it in a book, but because you've done it enough times at home to know it actually works.
That's the difference between theory and evidence.
And it's exactly why most people stay stuck — not just in parenting, but in everything they're trying to build.
In this week's episode, I talk about something I call The Connector Method™ (maybe you’ve heard me mention it 100 times hahaha)
(Again) The core principle is this: Action reveals Evidence (truth). Evidence builds confidence. Confidence creates results.
Most people wait to feel confident before they take action.
But that's backwards.
Confidence doesn't come from preparation. It comes from participation.
You don't feel confident THEN do the thing. You do the thing, see what happens, refine, and keep doing it. THAT builds confidence.
The grocery store meltdown? You handled it calmly because you had evidence from doing it at home. You knew what would work.
Building a business? Same process. You take action, document what happened, and use that evidence to move faster next time.
Leading a team? Same thing. You try something, capture the results, and build a library of proof about what actually works.
Here's where most people get stuck:
They take action—but they don't capture the evidence.
So the next time they face uncertainty, they're starting from scratch again. No proof. No confidence. Just anxiety and assumptions.
That's why I built what I call an Evidence Library.
Every time I take action—whether it's a sales call, a parenting moment, or a new system I'm testing—I document three things:
What I did (the action)
What happened (the result)
What I learned (the evidence)
That's it.
And over time, that library becomes my confidence bank. The next time doubt creeps in, I don't have to rely on feelings—I have proof.
Here's your action step this week:
Pick ONE area where you're waiting to feel ready:
Starting that business idea
Having a hard conversation
Testing a new system
Trying something with your kids
Take the smallest possible action TODAY. Then write down:
What you did
What actually happened
What you learned
That's your first piece of evidence.
Do it again tomorrow. And the next day.
By the end of the week, you'll have more confidence than you did waiting to feel ready.
In this week's podcast, I go deep on this framework — and I share the five AI systems I use to capture evidence faster so I can build confidence in real time.
Because here's the truth: You don't have a time problem. You have a systems problem.
And when you build systems that handle the repetitive stuff, you create capacity to actually take action on what matters.

Stop waiting to feel ready. Start building evidence… by taking fast action.
That's how you move from hoping to having.
