The Question I Get Asked Most (And What I’m Building Because of It)
I launched the site imperfect, here's what's on it, and what's coming next

Hi loves!
You know what I noticed this week?
Most people I talk to aren't confused because they lack information.
They're confused because they don't know what to execute on first.
So they do what feels responsible: more research, more tools, more "preparation."
But preparation without direction doesn't create confidence. It creates inertia.
The people making progress right now? They're not the most informed or the most optimized. They're the ones who took a step, collected evidence, and adjusted.
Clarity comes from creating.
That's it. That's the pattern.
And this week, I practiced what I preach.
I released seedandsociety.com at 80% done
Not perfect. Not polished. Not complete.
But done enough to exist. Done enough to be useful. Done enough to start getting feedback.
I could have spent another three months "getting it ready." I could have waited until every page was optimized, every detail dialed in.
Instead, I chose action.
Launched in 2 weeks.
Because this is exactly what The Connector Method™ teaches: action reveals truth, evidence guides pivots, confidence accelerates results.
And I'd rather have something real and imperfect than something imaginary and pristine.
What's actually on the site
If you're new here (welcome), Seed & Society™ is for parents and professionals who want options.
Those that want the ability to design a life that doesn't require choosing between career and family, between earning well and living well.
Here's what's at the heart of Seed & Society™ :
The Connectors Market™
This is my answer to information overload. I'm curating an intentional blog with what actually works. Kind of like this newsletter, but on demand.
It's organized into five categories with AI threaded through all of them:
Make Money (Tools, and systems for creating income and careers)
Save Money (resources that reduce what you spend)
Save Time (automation and time freedom)
Build Assets (land, food systems, infrastructure)
Podcast (episodes and show notes from real conversations)
Resources includes why I chose something, what alternatives exist, and how it fits into a bigger system. This is intentional custom curation based on what I'm actually using or exploring.
Fair warning: I'm still migrating older blog posts over, so if you see construction signs, that's why. Building in public means you get to watch the messy middle.
My Story
The About page shares the full arc. From homelessness to my GED to my MBA, teaching to tech sales, $1M+ in commissions to buying 10 acres mortgage-free while raising two kids and working full-time.
Not a fairytale. Just proof that you can build wealth from wherever you start, and you don't have to abandon your career to create something different.
What I'm building around the question I get asked most
You know what comes up in almost every conversation I have? “How did you start making six figures?”
Not “how did you buy land” or “how do you homeschool” or even “how do you do it all.”
Just: how did you get to the income level that makes everything else possible?
So here’s what I’m committing to for all of 2026: making this a main pillar of what I talk about and help with. Sales. Tech. Commission and incentive based roles. High-paying careers with relatively low barriers to entry if you know how to play the game and speak the language.
I want to show people the doors that are open right now, how to walk through them, and how to use AI to make the whole process faster and easier. That’s what I’ve done. That’s what I know how to teach (ask all the people I’ve career coached without realizing). And that’s what I’m building for January.
The Six-Figure AI Career System™
But wait, there’s more😂
I've also been working on something for corporate parents who want to build parallel income without quitting their jobs or burning out.
Not another "create passive income" course, everything takes work at first BUT can be automated. Absolutely not a "quit your 9-5" pitch, this actually works better if you have both!
But it is a foundation for people who need a clear starting point and a roadmap that respects real constraints. Real time. Real responsibilities.
I'm teaching the fundamentals I wish someone had taught me six months ago, when I didn't know what a lead magnet was or how funnels worked.
It's a curated path. Not trying to make you an expert in everything, but showing you exactly where to start, which resources actually help, and how to execute.
The Time and Money Lab™
Q1 2026. That's when doors open for both tracks, I’m here to serve you for wherever you are on this journey to more money and more time.
If you want to be added to the early list, just reply to this email and say "waitlist." I'll make sure you're first to know when it's ready.
Why I'm telling you this
Because I'm tired of watching capable people drown in information while starving for direction.
Because I know what it feels like to have no income and then be stuck between "stable income" and "sustainable life."
And because I've proven to myself that you don't need to choose. You just need a system and the courage to start before you're ready.
The new site isn't perfect.
This email isn't perfect.
But they're both done. And that's worth more than perfect inaction ever will be.
If you've been waiting for a sign to start your thing, whatever it is, consider this it.
Not when you have more time. Not when you feel more ready. Now. With what you have. From where you are.
Building in public,
Makeda
